Battle over corn syrup hits shelves
The battle over high fructose corn syrup has reached the front lines. Both H.J. Heinz Co. and the Campbell Soup Company have reformulated products to replace corn syrup with sugar. The Heinz ketchup is branded “Simply Heinz” while Campbell removed the syrup from its “Heart Smart” Prego pasta sauce. High fructose corn syrup is used in everything […] http://dlvr.it/FD81v
In search of the perfect orange, part 5
Off to work early with a huddle at the booth at #IBS2011 an hour before opening. Our contact, Carlene Moloney, briefed the troops at Aqua Glass on how to talk with the media. I have two roles this week: supervise media interviews I booked and blog about the client’s brand, among other innovations at the […] http://dlvr.it/Dp9Yc
In search of the perfect orange, part 4
Left a good hotel (the Inn on the Lake) in an average town (Sebring) and drove not to Orlando as planned but to Mt. Dora, an hour north of the city. Drove past the small park we saw five years ago when we left the kids at Disney. Ate at the same restaurant near the […] http://dlvr.it/DkKG2

In search of the perfect orange, part 2

About 25 Rotarians, a favorable mix of young and old, gathered in the back of the Marion County United Way Building, a blue stucco affair with dark blue pillars in a nicely shaded area. These people are fast as […] http://dlvr.it/DZY7n
In search of the perfect orange, part 1
Two days after New Year’s we flew from Allentown, Pa., to Orlando International for a tour of Central Florida’s lake district and a search for real orange juice. I carried a mangled nest of electronic devices and cords for coverage of the International Builders Show the following week. My wife had packed a half-dozen books […] http://dlvr.it/DWF6s
Live at IBS, it’s the Builder Buzz
Our firm is working the International Builders Show in sunny Orlando–31 degrees above at 7:30 a.m. when we arrived to shoot video. You can read about some of the innovations being introduced at the show at a companion blog, The Builder Buzz. http://dlvr.it/DGHkp
It’s the end of the world and we like it
There isn’t a lot of literature about 9/11. The attack on the World Trade Center has given the nation a case of post-traumatic stress disorder. With End Days, Deborah Zoe Laufer just might change that. In her play, the Stein family is reeling from the attack in New York. Each copes in his or her own […] http://dlvr.it/CtQj4
